i'm alive

"we lie in the shadow of death"
"out of the depths i cry to you, o L-rd hear my cry"
"You raise me up to fly on the wings of eagles"
  - originally from different parts of scripture, adapted to the "commentary" of a set of tabloes me and someone else did in play practice yesterday. doesn't it describe the struggle so well? He hears us out of the shadow of death, the very depths of despair...and raises us up!

yes i am alive, and doing well. i hope and pray that everyone is well and safe and wish you a wonderful upcoming holiday season!

Lots of fun and crazy stuff has been happening...I got my braces off, i went to Ecuador, i finished school (for this year), i spent two weeks helping out a bunch of my friends with a play they were all in and i wasn't for the first time in 6 years, uhmm... yea that about sums it up...hehe are some pic's of my trip to Ecuador!

My brother works as a manager on a rose farm (the largest in Ecuador!) this at the farm where they have a few horses.

Here's me shooting Seth's gun at the farm's "shooting range" aka an empty field with a large pile of dirt and a piece of trash as the target.

Here's me at the lovely village of Banos (i can't figure out how to get the little ~ above the"n" but that's how it's pronounced)

Seth and I about to embark on our horse tour.

Me and my horse "Michael Jackson"...need i say more?

Me again, this is the top of my brothers building on almost the only clear day i was there, you can see the inactive volcano Cotopaxi behind me. (it's the tall white one)

This is the waterfall that we went swimming in on one of our hike's. While we were there a local Ecuadorian jumped off into the pool, it was really sweet!

Ok well there not letting me upload any more so i guess that's it for now. I hope you enjoyed them! It was a very fun trip, i had lots of interesting and crazy experiences, thanks Seth!!!

P.S. how ironic, it took going to Ecuador to get me into Coldplay...all those two hour car trips got to my head and now i love 'em...oy!

Hello...

I am doing well, let’s see…Pasach was great, a little different from most years but still good. Uhhm, Jen and Judah's wedding was beautiful, it was great to see all of you up there! And now, I’m busy just trying to finish up this school year and prepare for the next. Who ever thought getting older would be so hard? Always more decisions to be made, and more questions to answer about the future...I think if I weren't a believer it would all drive me mad. Thank you L-rd! I am getting excited about my up-coming trip to Ecuador! I’m going to visit my older brother Seth who lives and works there. It will be my first international flight alone and should be interesting… A great big thank you to Isaac for agreeing to pick me up in Miami, at 12:30, on a week day!! But don't feel too sorry for him, he's taking advantage of the situation and getting home-made cookies, a car wash and various other various things… Other than that, we are planning our summer family vacation…this will feature the UMJC conference and a stay at Lake Lure NC. My oldest nephew Jordan and prayerfully Josie will also be traveling with us. Because of working on the youth board, i know that it's going to be a great conference this year, so everyone should go!

Ok well that should cover everything for a few more months…no, I’ll try to post more often than that, we’ll see if I get the inspiration...

MasterCard...

Park Entrance Fee: $17

Kayaks: $48

Watching Mom and Brother tip their boat: Priceless

There's some things money can't buy, for everything else there's MasterCard.

So the other day we took a "Family Day Off" and went down to Key Largo. How sad is this? i have lived in SouFla since i was two and this was the first time i had been to the Keys! Anyway, it was very fun we went to this park and went kayaking which was..an experience to say the least. We also laid out on the lagoon beach and became completely sand and salt infested. After soaking up all the beautiful WORM sunny weather, we packed up and headed back. We stopped for dinner on the way back and made it home that night. It was grand fun and very insightful, i will maybe share more at another later date.

In other news, mom and dad are currently in Cyprus, teaching and learning at the Discipleship Training School there. Fallowing that they are going to Israel to observe and learn from the Training School near Jerusalem. In their absence i am taking care of the home, brother, dog and other various persons coming and going from the house, going to bed and getting up early, completing all my school and extra curricular things as well as  everything on the lists (mom's lists) and just generally being the wonderfully responsible girl that i am!! *ehm* in other words, it's a nonstop party!

Ok rock on and...GO PANTHERS!!!!!!
